The Ark Comforts

Hotel Information

The Ark Comfort is a spectacular beach front resort hidden away in a cove just South of Palolem Beach Goa. It is situated an hour and half drive from the airport and an hour distance from the Margao railway station and the Margao city. It is situated on a private beach front and probably the closest resort to the sea, just few steps away from all the rooms

The Ark Comforts offer unrestricted sea view from all its Luxurious Chalets. Rejuvenate in the lap of Mother Nature and get lost in the feeling of private island destination.

Indulge in the clear blue water with astonishing sea view even from beds and experience the supremacy of dreamy sunsets.

Check-In and Check-Out Policy

Our earliest check-in time is 2pm and check-out is before 11am. Due to very limited room inventory, we apologize as we have to be fairly strict about times because most guests do not leave until the last possible moment and also want to check-in as soon as possible.

If you are arriving at night or early morning, we advise you book your accommodation starting with previous night so you can check in directly after arrival. Or you can hope for luck that your room will not be occupied the night before and you will not have to wait till other guests check out and room gets cleaned for you.

Children Policy details

Children below 2 years are free as it is assumed that they share parent’s bed. This is applicable for one child per room and the same need to be informed at the time of check-in. No need to inform at the time of booking at any online site as it will take additional charge for the kid. Note that charge is applicable for second child onwards per extra child per room for the kids aged from 0 to 2 years old.

Extra charge is applicable for children between 3-12 years old, and should be informed at the time of booking on any portal. This will auto calculate the fare required for the kids. If you have 2 or more children above this age we would recommend that you reserve another cottage and you can try and keep both cottages next to each other. Our resort view or chalet view photos can help you select the room in the chalet or nearby chalet.

Extra Adult Policy

Guests aged 13 years or above are considered adults. We prefer for there to be only two adults in each room except in the Joy room which is family suite and can accommodate 3 adults.

Parking Policy

Safe and secure shared parking is available 50 Meters from the reception. Parking at your own risk.

Please also connect with our reception team 10-15 minutes before you reach on +91 84467 07451 so we will send our bell boy to collect your luggage from the parking space.

Pets

We love pets! Bring your furry friend. Please take care that they are friendly and silent for the place like us and you’re confident that your pet will not disturb other guests at the property.

Arrival Assistance

You can always reach us at the Ark Comforts through Google Maps and should you have any issues finding us, you can call sales representative at +91 87660 65560 or you can also reach our reception team at the +91 8446707451

Please also connect with our reception 10-15 minutes before you reach so we will send our bell boy to collect your luggage from the parking space.

Best price

We are offering better prices for our guests booking directly with us via our website most of the time, so please make a clever decision and book directly with us to get the best price.

Deposit

You will be charged a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation on our website and all other travel website asks for 100% in advance. Deposit is non-refundable. Balance amount you can pay through link sent by us or at the time of check-in at the resort.

Cancellation

As we are a small resort, late cancellations and no-shows really affect our business, therefore our deposit and cancellation policy is as follows

Free of charge cancellations are only possible if cancelled at least 120 days in advance before your stay. In any other cases your deposit will not be refunded, but in some cases we can offer date change for once.

Non-arrival to the resort (No Show)

If you fail to arrive to the resort till next day 11 am of your original booking and do not inform us about it in advance by email or phone, we will see this as No Show and your entire reservation will be cancelled automatically by the resort. You will be charged the cost of the whole reservation.

Shorten stay (Early check out)

If your plans change and you decide to leave earlier, we will understand it as cancellation and will ask you to pay in full for all remaining nights.

Payment at the resort

We prefer cashless transactions at the resort and collect cash only in unavoidable situations. You can always pay your bill balance through debit/credit card. UPI Payments or direct bank transfer.

Rates

Rates are per room per night.

Taxes

All accommodation rates are subject to Goods and Service Tax (GST).

Special requests

Please note all special requests will not be guaranteed as they are subject to availability upon your arrival to the hotel.

Force Majeure

The resort cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of the reservation contract is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which account to “force majeure”. Circumstances accounting to “force majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid.

Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of your accommodation (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your stay) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic and all similar situations beyond our control.

It is explicitly agreed that an event of force majeure suspends execution of the reciprocal obligations for the parties, and that each party shall pay the expenses resulting therefrom. In particular, the guests alone shall pay the additional expenses that might be incurred for any change in hotel, following the event of force majeure.

Personal Belongings

You shall at all times take care of your belongings. The Ark Comforts shall not be liable for any loss or damage to your belongings.

Ark Comforts reserves the right to cancel, amend or vary the arrangements and contents featured on the THR Website and/or change, amend, vary or add to these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

    I had a wonderful stay. I could not fault anything. The room and facilities were perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was excellent.

    The beautiful room and beach just next to my room.

    The location of the hotel is amazing, just in front of the beach. The service was excellent. The food quality was great. All the staffs were very much cooperative. Everything is great. They have also arranged rented bike for us. We have also used the swimming pool attached with the property. I am highly satisfied with the services received from this property.

    "Stunning Beach Property - loved it"

    We stayed with 2 teenage children . The property is located at Southend of panolem beach overlooking a small secluded private like beach . The rooms are very comfortable, originally we checked into room Hope , it is right on beach and has amazing view . Due to some fan trouble we got upgraded to room destiny it’s on first floor not exactly on beach but enormous room with separate living area and two bathrooms Both rooms have very modern interiors , comfortable beds , clean, comes with jacuzzi, all toiletries , air conditioning , massage chair .

    Location, private beach dealing, sea facing restaurants and reasonable quality food , very friendly staff esp manager Jez and chef Roshan . Breakfast is not buffet but you can order multiple things from available options,
    Only thing I can say is internet quality is not great and it takes about an hour and half from airport to reach

    "We loved it here, stunning setting!"

    We couldn't have asked for a better setting, the hotel has it's own private beach which all the rooms point towards, so waking up to the ocean waves crashing in front of your bedroom, is beautiful!! The staff were brilliant, all super helpful and friendly. Palolem beach is a 2 min walk over some steps, and you have a variety of shops, restaurants and a 1.5km beautiful beach. Would highly recommend Ark Comforts, they were great.

    "Amazing experience and location "

    Loved every bit of experience right from the room and their names too. I stayed in love and then in calmness. The service on orders is world class, the boat experience is so unique and luxurious, the staff going out of way to help and plan events. The food and quality. One piece of recommendation though to include more fresh juices like papaya and mango (ofcourse seasonal) will be amazing

    "Amazing stay and staff"

    Let me first clarify regarding the negative reviews by some customers for breakfast and other things. The place is amazing having an exquisite location, small but creative interior decors, wonderful colour schemes and attention to detail of the chalet. Extremely cooperative staff, willing to help at all times. The restaurant is good with a sumptuous breakfast menu and nice preparation. The restaurant has a sea facing view and comfortable seating arrangements. The restaurant only lacks some live music and other attractions available nearby. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the stay.

    "Idyllic Break"

    What can I say, the place, people and property, they're all stunning. The Ark Resort really is a little hideaway, situated in a small bay next to the busier Palolem beach, it provides a quieter location for a stay on the beach, with a restaurant closer to the sea than you will get locally. The staff are so very helpful and make the stay one to remember

    "Stay at Ark this Jan "

    Hi we stayed in the room love. Love the ambience and views from the room. Listening to sound of the waves while lying from the bed was like meditation I like the fact that the property is built in an eco friendly manner without much use of concrete. The vegetarian food was delicious. Only discomfort was that both veg and non veg were prepared in the same kitchen. Than you to yhe reservation staff we had earlier booked for Dec 2022 and due a death in the family we could not travel. Thanks for accommodating for a next date without canceling our booking . The staff was very warm and courteous. Special mention to T sorry don't remember her full name and Roshan and Swarupa. Best wishes to the team and I look forward to visit again

    "The real paradise.. beautiful place to stay"

    A beautiful stay and well maintained rooms. We booked Kindness and Hope a month before. But the disappointment is, we were told that rooms were occupied by the time we reached and offered us faith and affection. We got our rooms at 530pm in the evening with no power for next 45 minutes.

    Friendly and warm staff, awesome Location, Maintenance, Infinity pool, Jacuzzi, access to the beach, kid friendly, breakfast service
    Front office manager (male): Can be more professional in terms of commitment and tone. It was Hotel's mistake in not allocating the booked rooms. Food: This is a beautiful location and a very cordial staff. In-house food/restaurant can be more advantageous for guest instead of ordering food from outside or restricting to very limited Chinese menu that's served for dinner.

    Eating option -vegetarian Reservation staff(on phone)- not a dislike exactly but could be improved but was compensated with the extra ordinary positive resort staff :) Also if a way is build to connect palolem main beach and your property, would be great!

    The ark comfort is nestled in a scenic splendor of Colomb village..just a foot step away of the sea... The scintillating beauty and gracious Arabian sea, the sounds of the wave... Truly mesmerize the mother nature.. and do remind the song of Remo Fernandez.. lharalharanchi aaykti kantara....

    The accomodation, rooms are truly amazing, and each are named as it stands for .. Early morning boat ride was just awesome... Food was superb.. and more important all the staff members...

    "We loved it here, stunning setting!"

    We couldn't have asked for a better setting, the hotel has it's own private beach which all the rooms point towards, so waking up to the ocean waves crashing in front of your bedroom, is beautiful!! The staff were brilliant, all super helpful and friendly. Palolem beach is a 2 min walk over some steps, and you have a variety of shops, restaurants and a 1.5km beautiful beach. Would highly recommend Ark Comforts, they were great.

    "Amazing experience and location "

    Loved every bit of experience right from the room and their names too. I stayed in love and then in calmness. The service on orders is world class, the boat experience is so unique and luxurious, the staff going out of way to help and plan events. The food and quality. One piece of recommendation though to include more fresh juices like papaya and mango (ofcourse seasonal) will be amazing

    "Amazing stay and staff"

    Let me first clarify regarding the negative reviews by some customers for breakfast and other things. The place is amazing having an exquisite location, small but creative interior decors, wonderful colour schemes and attention to detail of the chalet. Extremely cooperative staff, willing to help at all times. The restaurant is good with a sumptuous breakfast menu and nice preparation. The restaurant has a sea facing view and comfortable seating arrangements. The restaurant only lacks some live music and other attractions available nearby. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the stay.

    "Idyllic Break"

    What can I say, the place, people and property, they're all stunning. The Ark Resort really is a little hideaway, situated in a small bay next to the busier Palolem beach, it provides a quieter location for a stay on the beach, with a restaurant closer to the sea than you will get locally. The staff are so very helpful and make the stay one to remember

    "Stay at Ark this Jan "

    Hi we stayed in the room love. Love the ambience and views from the room. Listening to sound of the waves while lying from the bed was like meditation I like the fact that the property is built in an eco friendly manner without much use of concrete. The vegetarian food was delicious. Only discomfort was that both veg and non veg were prepared in the same kitchen. Than you to yhe reservation staff we had earlier booked for Dec 2022 and due a death in the family we could not travel. Thanks for accommodating for a next date without canceling our booking . The staff was very warm and courteous. Special mention to T sorry don't remember her full name and Roshan and Swarupa. Best wishes to the team and I look forward to visit again

    "The real paradise.. beautiful place to stay"

    A beautiful stay and well maintained rooms. We booked Kindness and Hope a month before. But the disappointment is, we were told that rooms were occupied by the time we reached and offered us faith and affection. We got our rooms at 530pm in the evening with no power for next 45 minutes.

    Friendly and warm staff, awesome Location, Maintenance, Infinity pool, Jacuzzi, access to the beach, kid friendly, breakfast service
    Front office manager (male): Can be more professional in terms of commitment and tone. It was Hotel's mistake in not allocating the booked rooms. Food: This is a beautiful location and a very cordial staff. In-house food/restaurant can be more advantageous for guest instead of ordering food from outside or restricting to very limited Chinese menu that's served for dinner.
